With resigning period almost over I'm sure most of your teams are starting to take shape.. how's everybody's team look?
Here's mine, assuming I get Stoll/Frolov locked up..
Sedin - Spezza - Frolov Brown - Sedin - Selanne Cleary - Brassard - Hunter Adams - Stoll - Hinote
Timonen - ? ? ? Exelby - Eriksson Martinek - Smid
Luongo Dubielewicz
Pretty stoked with how it's taking shape.. even though I still have a massive hole on defense to fill.. not sure if how everything is going to fit under the cap also but I'm still working on that. lol.

Dubinsky - Bolland - Kessel Armstrong - Bergeron - Drury Ruutu - McClement - Bernier Torres - Gratton - Clarkson
Chara - Mitchell Kaberle - Girardi Seidenberg - Jackman
Lundqvist Popperle
I have 4 forechecking lines that should be tons of energy and intensity. We'll see if they can stay out of the penalty box.. i'm trying for a BSHL PIM record.. lol
Also with Lundqvist no longer a 64 overall, that alone should help a lot.

Does that Honor belong to me right now? And the answer is yes with 1676 PIM in season 2.
Looks like that honor will remain mine. After 7 games I'm still leading the league with 210 PIM. At this pace I will crush last years record, this year projection 2460 PIM.

After the Luongo deal my team looks like this..
Sedin - Spezza - Frolov Brown - Sedin - Selanne Cleary - Brassard - Hunter Adams - Stoll - Hinote
Timonen - Lilja Exelby - Eriksson Martinek - Smid
Giguere Dubielewicz
still need to shave off about 600K in cap somewhere but I'm sure I can figure that out.. time to smoke some dope and go to bed after a long night of trade negotiations haha.

Lupul-Gomez-Elias Samsonov-Lang-Shannon Rissmiller-Legwand-Linden Upshall-Madden-Rypein
Mezsaros-Morrisonn Rozsival-Wisniewski Redden-Zhitnik
Stephan Varlamov
The organization still has'nt decided on a starting goalie yet, still some 's in that area, leaning towards Varlamov and Schneider but not 100% sure as of yet, if that is the case Tobias Stephan will more then likely return to play in Europe if he is not named the starting goaltender. The defense like last seaosn will be the strong point of our team alot of offense coming from all 6 dmen, with the top 4 possessing a lethal offensive attack, with Andrej Mezsaros, Shoane Morrisonn, Michael Rozsival and James Wisniewski, but can the play defense is the question, after Meszaros and Morrisonn's rugged play the Canucks are thin with physicality so this is an area to watch for during the season. We have a strong veteran crew up front and arguablly the best 4 Centre combination in the league, no shortage of quality and depth there but overall age is a concern as as Lang and Linden are pondering their retirement at seasons end with many other players in their 30's we have veteran leadership which we are leaning towards after a dissapointing season out of the playoffs last season.

Doan - Jokinen - Mueller Kariya - Nylander - Sykora Carcillo - Gaustad - Winnik Avery - Carter - Mayers
Bouwmeester - Jovanovski Regher - Phillips Koistinen - Erskine
Smith Huet
The Jets should still be a top team in there divison and conference. Not much as change since season 2. The big question will be in goal as the Jets lost Martin Brodeur due to retirement but with a duo of Smith and Huet things should be fine if not better as Brodeur was under performing anyway.

Z. Parise - M. Savard - T. White S. Sullivan - M. Koivu - M. Hejduk T. Pyatt - M. Talbot - A. Miettinen T. Plihal - G. Campbell - M. Lapointe
J. Vandermeer - J. Corvo B. Campbell - F. Meyer C. Shubert - C. Backman
N. Backstrom C. Anderson
With the new NHL rating my team is way better than last season. White went from 66 OV to 71 OV, Parise went from 69 OV to 77 OV and Backstrom went from 69 OV to 79 OV. So the Penguins better watch out this season for the new and improve Devils. lol

New roster after signing Tucker.. sure we paid a bit more than most probably would of, but we recently discovered 11 million in cap space we didn't know we had.. so we could afford it, plus he's got 90 CK and 81 DF and a decent fighting rating so he should add some much needed grit to our line up...
Sedin (74) - Spezza (77) - Frolov (74) Brown (72) - Sedin (74) - Selanne (73) Cleary (70) - Brassard (67) - Hunter (69) Tucker (67) - Stoll (68) - Adams (65)
Timonen (75) - Lilja (72) Exelby (66) - Eriksson (69) Martinek (68) - Smid (66)
Giguere (72) Dubielewicz (69)
Definitely liking the lineup a lot.. wouldn't mind upgrade the defense a little bit before the season starts but we'll see..

R. Nash (75) - P. Stastny (74) - D. Moss (64) C. Stillman (70) - P. Forsberg (65) - P. Demitra (71) G. Roberts (67) - B. Morrison (65) - C. Clark (65) A. Hilbert (64) - D. Steckel (64) - D. McAmmond (65) Spares: P. Prucha (62), T. Amonte (62)
A. Markov (73) - K. Ballard (71) N. Boynton (65) - J. Liles (70) K. Russell (63) - J. Cullimore (64) Spares: D. Kalinin (62), A. Semenov (60)
S. Mason (76) B. Johnson (66)
Joe Sakic and Adam Foote both retired over the summer, and neither of them have been or even could be replaced. A couple of lines that should score goals, and the 7-12 forwards might not score much but they will not give up a lot either. If my top players prove dependable throughout the season, there might be enough of them to make up for the lack of offensive depth. The blueline features three excellent players who are above-average puck movers, but there are some question marks beyond that. Fortunately, this is a pretty cheap roster so there is plenty of cap room if the right move presents itself.
Some farm players like Hensick and Stewart are bound to see a bit of time in the show this season too.
